Big Doug’s Expanding to Hiram with Southern Comfort Favorites
Following its success in Emerson, Big Doug’s will serve southern classics in Hiram early next year.
Big Doug’s is bringing its popular comfort food to Hiram early next year, owner Mark Sullins told Business Debut. This will be Sullins' second location, following the success of the original Emerson restaurant, Doug's Place, which recently underwent renovations.
Located at 3807 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141, Big Doug’s will offer an expansive 9,000-square-foot space with seating for 176 guests. Currently, the team is hard at work expanding the parking lot, adding a vestibule, and constructing a porch.

Big Doug’s will operate seven days a week, with hours as follows:
- Monday-Wednesday: Drive-thru opens at 6 am, dining room from 7 am - 3 pm.
- Thursday-Saturday: Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, closing at 9 pm.
- Sunday: Open from 7 am - 3 pm.
