Atlanta's very first romance bookstore is coming to Kirkwood via owner Kate Jess McNeil. A former teacher of six years, McNeil told Business Debut that the "whole idea is to create a space for the [romance] community." All the Tropes Bookstore will be a hub for romance enthusiasts to meet authors, attend book signings and discuss their favorite novels.

McNeil's shared with Business Debut that she initially didn't like romance fiction; however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she read the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, which she describes as her "gateway drug" into the genre.

McNeil told Business Debut that she is aiming to open August 17th, on National Romance Book Day. Located at 27 Doyle St SE, Atlanta, GA 30317, the 1,250-square-foot space is one large room with movable shelving to create space for events.

Expect a dark, Victorian mood conducive to cozy romance reading. Operating hours will be Tuesday to Friday 11 am - 7 pm, Saturday 11 am - 8 pm and Sunday 12 pm - 6 pm.
