NAPLES, FL — Tiny Kitchen is targeting a late May or early June opening at 524 Park St, Naples, FL 34102, owner Alejandro Veiga told Business Debut. Veiga is opening the restaurant with his wife, Samantha Skarl, and his mother, Chef Marta Veiga. Tiny Kitchen will serve Argentinian street food from a 680-square-foot space near Fifth Avenue South.

Lenny's Grill & Subs
PENSACOLA, FL — Will Morin and Kent Simmons are bringing Lenny's Grill & Subs back to Pensacola with their first franchise location for the brand at 96 E. Garden St., Pensacola, FL 32502. The restaurant is targeting an end of June or first week of July opening, Morin told Business Debut.

Matilde
TAMPA, FL — Matilde Coastal Mexican Kitchen is coming to 300 W. Tyler St., Suite A, Tampa, FL 33602, in the Arts and Entertainment Residences (AER Tampa) building in downtown Tampa. Next Level Brands founder Jeff Gigante told Business Debut the team is targeting a late January or early February 2027 opening.

Crooked Can Brewing Company
MINNEOLA, FL — Crooked Can Brewing Company is planning a destination brewery and venue for its fourth location at 1600 Crooked Can Loop, Minneola, FL 34715, with a targeted late June opening, owner Andy Sheeter told Business Debut. The team is hoping to open during the third week of June, though the date remains a moving target, Sheeter told Business Debut.

Bro’s Hot Chicken
SWEETWATER, FL — Bro’s Hot Chicken is preparing to open its third location at 10899 SW 4th Street, Suite 101, Sweetwater, FL 33174, marking a long-awaited expansion for the Miami-born Nashville hot chicken brand. Owner David Adan told Business Debut the restaurant is targeting an opening within the next one to two months after more than two and a half years in development.
Cowy Burger
DORAL, FL — Cowy Burger, the Miami smash burger concept from Diego J. Machicao, Guillermo Felipe, Carlos Reveron and Daniel Machicao, is planning a second location at 8400 NW 53rd Street, Doral, FL 33166. Machicao told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening at the end of the year or beginning of next year, with December looking promising.

KEY WEST, FL — J.C. Pernas and his wife and co-owner, Patricia Pernas, are planning to open The Reserve Key West at 510 Southard St, Key West, FL 33040 by the end of June, though the timeline could shift with construction, Pernas told Business Debut. The concept is taking over a former bank building that has been empty for about 10 years.

Baisel's African Kitchen
WEST PALM BEACH, FL — Baisel's African Restaurant is targeting a late June opening at 1400 10th St Unit D, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Owner Godfred Baisel told Business Debut he and his wife, Faustina Baisel, are opening their first restaurant to bring Ghanaian and West African food and culture to the area.
Diadem Pickleball Complex
WELLINGTON, FL — Diadem Pickleball Complex is targeting a September 15th opening at 10570 West Forest Hill Boulevard, Wellington, FL 33414, owner Simon Velasquez told Business Debut. The indoor pickleball facility will also include Cat 5, a restaurant and bar serving pizza, salads, beer and wine.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL — Pilar Coffee Bar and Iced Treats is planned for a late 2026 opening at 7100 Fairway Drive, Unit 23, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418, franchisee Michael Buzzetti told Business Debut. Pilar Coffee Bar and Iced Treats will offer coffee, gelato, food and desserts in a coffee bar setting, Buzzetti told Business Debut.

SOUTH PASADENA, FL — Burger Monger is opening its first drive-through location at 1530 Pasadena Avenue South, South Pasadena, FL 33707, with a soft opening planned for May 12 and a grand opening scheduled for May 18. They will serve build-your-own burgers with a range of toppings, along with signature burgers, fries, hand-spun shakes, dirty sodas, Philly sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, melts, salads, Impossible Burgers and black bean patties.
Faraway Joes Family Friendly Subs
TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Faraway Joes Family Friendly Subs & More is preparing to open inside Tarpon Springs Castle Winery at 320 East Tarpon Avenue, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. Joe Marks, who owns the winery with his wife, Diana Marks, told Business Debut the shop is targeting an opening in about four weeks, pending final approvals.

Tim Calhoon, vice president of the business and Tina Calhoon’s husband, told Business Debut the restaurant is 100% female owned, with Tina Calhoon serving as chef and owner.

Salty Neighbor Bar & Grill
VENICE, FL — Salty Neighbor Bar & Grill is planned for the former Rib City space at 4187 S Tamiami Trl, Venice, FL 34293 in the Venice Village Shops plaza. Owner Edwin Morales told Business Debut the veteran-owned sports bar is targeting an Oct. 1 opening, with the timeline currently set for late September or early October.

Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza Middleton

MIDDLETON, FL — Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza Middleton is planning a late fall opening for its 16th location at 2259 Dr. Randy McDaniel Way, Middleton, FL 34762. The Florida brand is owned locally by Jerry Roberts, Joel Mills and Mike Akey, with Melissa Akey and Laurie Young still tied to the brand and active participants who continue to add value, director of marketing David Hew told Business Debut.
