Broward County

Freda’s Dominican Cuisine

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Freda’s Dominican Cuisine is preparing to open a new fast-casual Dominican restaurant at 6868 Power Line Road in Fort Lauderdale, targeting a mid-to-late February debut. Partner Ruddy Sime told Business Debut the opening timeline reflects construction delays, but the team is focused on getting everything right before welcoming guests.

Mr. Shrimp Chicken & Seafood

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL — Mr. Shrimp Chicken & Seafood is expected to open in February at 2424 N. State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes, according to COO Jamila Abraham. The Lauderdale Lakes restaurant will be the brand’s fifth brick-and-mortar location, adding to a growing footprint that also includes a food truck with a permanent location.

JACKSONVILLE, FL — Licious Noodles and Bao is preparing to open its next Florida location at 4160 Southside Blvd #2B, Jacksonville, FL 32216, bringing the family-run Chinese concept to the Southside area. Owner Josh Cai told Business Debut the restaurant is targeting an opening within the next one to two months.

Tacos Y Mas

OCALA, FL — Tacos Y Mas, a fast-casual Latin restaurant, is planning a Jan. 1 opening at 3100 SW College Road Unit 3094, Ocala, FL 34474, owner Kevin Hudson told Business Debut. Hudson said the new spot will be connected to the former Sears space at Paddock Mall, which has been converted into a multi-unit destination with restaurants and bars.

Congress Ave., Ste. 2G A, Boynton Beach, FL 33426, in the first half of April. Franchise owner David Chapman told Business Debut the opening will mark his first Cluck Face Chicken location, with several more already in development across Palm Beach County.
