Drunken Noodle, a popular Thai restaurant in St. Marys that's co-owned by Gail Thitachot and her husband, Sam Sangsawangwatana, is bringing its flavors to Fernandina Beach, Thitachot reported to Business Debut.

The expansion includes a food truck set to launch in a couple of weeks and a full-service restaurant aiming to open around New Year’s. Located at 510 S 8th St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, the restaurant will take over the former Area 51 Korean Grill space.

The food truck will attend weekend events, serving appetizers like wings, crab rangoons, and other highlights from the Drunken Noodle menu to build excitement for the upcoming restaurant. The Fernandina Beach location will feature indoor seating for 60 guests, with an additional 20 seats on the patio, Thitachot said.

This marks the second location for Drunken Noodle, with the original in St. Marys, GA. Known for its Thai cuisine, the restaurant will bring the same beloved flavors to its new Florida location.
