Stitch Coffee Bringing Community-Focused Café to Canton
Opening in February, Stitch Coffee will serve baked goods, local bites, and fan favorites from the owners' former New Jersey café.

Stitch Coffee, a new community-oriented café and coffee shop, is set to open in Canton in late February 2025, co-owner David Hickey shared with Business Debut. Alongside his wife, Geralyn Hickey, and their adult children, Sarah Medranda and Anna Dower, the family is bringing their passion for coffee and connection to Georgia.
The Hickeys previously operated The Coffee Potter in New Jersey, which received accolades for being one of the best drive-thru cafés in the country. They are now establishing Stitch Coffee at 135 Reinhardt College Pkwy #2, Canton, GA 30114. The café will offer house-made baked goods, savory breakfast and lunch bites from local vendors, and fan favorites from their former shop, including Linda’s Biscotti, fresh New Yorker Bagels, and gluten-free, vegan Energy Bites.
David Hickey emphasized to Business Debut that Stitch Coffee aims to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where patrons can gather, meet and linger.
