LAWRENCEVILLE, GA — Queen P's Soulfood Kitchen is working toward opening at 706 Collins Hill Rd, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, where owner Patrice Hill plans to use the space as a hub for the business’s food truck, takeout service, and ghost kitchen operations.

Hill told Business Debut she is hoping to open by June 1, though the timing depends on construction work, inspections, and approvals.

What to Expect

Queen P's Soulfood Kitchen will function as a commissary and prep kitchen for the food truck while also serving customers through takeout and third-party delivery platforms such as DoorDash and Uber Eats, Hill told Business Debut.

Hill said the kitchen will support daily food prep for the truck, with staff working both on the truck and inside the kitchen to keep service moving.

Hill told Business Debut the menu is centered on soul food staples made fresh and from scratch, with a wider range of choices than she typically sees at other local soul food spots. She said favorites include fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and collard greens.

Hill also said the business will offer items such as turkey and spinach lasagna, along with meal prep services that rotate weekly. That setup is meant to give customers more variety, including families, athletes, and others looking for prepared meals that fit specific dietary needs, Hill shared with Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Hill said the project has been in the works since November. She told Business Debut she is targeting a June 1 opening, but the exact date remains to be announced as construction continues and the space moves through health and fire inspections.

To start, Queen P's Soulfood Kitchen plans to operate Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m.—9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.—6 p.m., Hill told Business Debut.
