New in Lawrenceville and Brookhaven: Eggscape Breakfast and Brunch Bar Opening Soon

ATLANTA, GA – Eggscape, a breakfast and brunch bar concept from owner Nahom Mekonnen, is planned for 2839 Buford Hwy NE, Atlanta, GA 30329 and 4955 Sugarloaf Pkwy Suite 110, Lawrenceville, GA 30044, Mekonnen shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.

What to Expect

Mekonnen described Eggscape as a breakfast and brunch bar with a full bar program. 

The Brookhaven location is set up for an estimated 60 to 70 guests, he shared. The Lawrenceville Eggscape will sit directly beside his other business, Illusion Sports Bar and Grill, in the same plaza.

Menu and Vision

Eggscape’s menu will center on breakfast and brunch dishes with cocktails such as mimosas available.

“We’re working with this new chef that’s bringing a little bit of an African taste, a little bit of like all over the world,” Mekonnen told Business Debut. He said the chef will “mix up a couple of things” to create the menu.

Opening Timeline

Mekonnen said both Eggscape locations are targeting opening in mid-September or toward the end of September. 

Hours

Eggscape plans to open from 8 a.m. — 4 p.m.
