Oakberry Açaí Bringing Authentic Brazilian Bowls and Smoothies to St. Petersburg

Oakberry Açaí is preparing to open its first St. Petersburg location, franchisee Sarah Schermerton Murphy shared with Business Debut.

A former professional volleyball player, Schermerton Murphy was introduced to açaí through her Brazilian teammates and coaches, who often remarked that U.S. açaí offerings fell short of the authentic Brazilian experience. Schermerton Murphy shared that she chose Oakberry Açaí, a Brazilian franchise with hundreds of locations worldwide, to bring the authentic product to St. Pete.

Located at 205 1st St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, Oakberry Açaí specializes in bowls and smoothies crafted with a proprietary blend of açaí and agave for a touch of sweetness, Schermerton Murphy reported.

Their smoothies are layered creations, featuring a base of açaí topped with a fruit smoothie blend for a flavorful, textured experience. Schermerton Murphy shared that while this is the first Oakberry in the area, there are plans to expand further.
