Not everyone passes an exam with a perfect score on the first try, but these restaurants in Polk County did.

According to data from the Tallahassee Democrat, these 4 restaurant received perfect, 0 violation scores on the inspectors first official visit. Most of them have opened very recently, so you can be one of the first customers to welcome them to the county. And you can do it with confidence.

Tequila Real Mexican Bar & Grill

We reported back in November that Tequila Real is a full-service Mexican restaurant and bar with seating for about 157 guests inside the 3,100-square-foot space.

Owner Richard “Richie” Acevedo shared that: “Everything is made fresh every day—nothing is frozen,” he said. The restaurant will offer a wide variety of options including 11 types of burritos and six to seven fajita choices.

“My favorite is the Texas fajitas,” Acevedo added. “We want people to have multiple choices so they can come every day and try something new.”

A franchise with one location open in Winter Haven and several units in the Midwest has started serving guests in Dundee, according to reviews on their Google My Business profile.

A recent video on Facebook shows guests enjoying churros, churro milkshakes (a milkshake with a long churro sticking out of the top), and a churro sundae (ice cream and churros).
