DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go Reopening May 1 in St Petersburg
Fresh pasta, sauces, toppings, and tiramisu will highlight with new look and expanded menu.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go is set to reopen on May 1 at 204 1st Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701, with Chandler Caruso leading the St. Petersburg location alongside his brother and co-owner David Caruso, father David Caruso, mother Michelene Caruso, sister Kayla Caruso, sister-in-law Rachel Caruso, and fiancée Keila Goulding. Caruso told Business Debut the reopening marks a new chapter for the family-run brand, which now has seven locations.
The new restaurant follows the closure of DalMoros’ original St. Petersburg location at 653 Central Ave, which had operated since May 2021. Caruso told Business Debut the move gave the team time to rethink the concept and apply what they have learned over the past few years.
Business Debut learned of this story first from What Now.
What to Expect
DalMoros Fresh Pasta To Go will continue its fast-casual format, centered on customizable fresh pasta dishes. Guests can choose from four pasta options, multiple sauces, and a range of toppings including vegetables, proteins, cheeses, and spices, Caruso told Business Debut.
“It’s a fast casual Italian restaurant,” Caruso told Business Debut. “Essentially you pick your pasta, you pick your sauce, you pick whatever toppings that you want to.”
The restaurant will also serve homemade tiramisu, paninos, salads, espresso, and other beverages. Seating is expected to include about 20 to 30 seats across indoor and outdoor tables, Caruso told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
Caruso said the updated St. Petersburg store will introduce a refreshed look, a new logo, and new menu additions while keeping some customer favorites in place.
“We’ve learned a lot since 2021,” Caruso told Business Debut. “We are just trying to implement it to future projects.”
He said the goal is to create a place where guests can stay awhile, whether they are stopping in for lunch, coffee, or a late-night meal. “We want people to relax and enjoy coming into DalMoros and feel like they’re taking a trip to Italy,” Caruso told Business Debut.
Opening Timeline
The family is targeting a May 1 opening, Caruso told Business Debut. He described the St. Petersburg restaurant as a reopening of the brand’s first Florida location and an important step in its continued growth.
Currently, DalMoros has seven locations, including restaurants in Delray Beach, Tampa, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Boston, and at the University of Florida, Caruso told Business Debut.
Hours
Regular hours are expected to be 11 a.m.—9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m.—2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday, Caruso told Business Debut.
