The brand centers on an island and Polynesian-style theme with flavors and sauces inspired by that region. He said the menu will focus on shrimp and ahi tuna prepared in several forms and flavor profiles.

Planned offerings include shrimp plates and bowls, along with ahi tuna bowls in seared and poke formats. The menu will also feature tacos built around shrimp and ahi tuna.

Shaka Shrimp Kitchen will serve both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from the counter. McCaffrey said guests can expect beer, ready-to-drink options, and several pre-batched cocktails, such as margaritas, piña coladas, or punch-style drinks, designed for quick service.

The team aims to source ingredients locally and responsibly. He described the food as fresh and full flavored, with a focus on island-inspired spice blends and traditional sauces.

Opening Timeline

Shaka Shrimp Kitchen is in the permitting phase. McCaffrey said the team is targeting an opening by the end of the year.
