Coming Soon to Roswell: Toasted Yolk Opening in November

Texas-based franchise plans first metro-Atlanta location.

ROSWELL, GA — Toasted Yolk, a Texas-based breakfast and lunch franchise, is planned for 1570 Holcomb Bridge Rd 855, Roswell, GA 30076, targeting an opening around Thanksgiving, franchisee DeBlair Tate told Business Debut. Tate said the team is aiming for late November, either shortly before or after Thanksgiving.

The Roswell restaurant will be the first Toasted Yolk location in the Atlanta market.

What to Expect

Toasted Yolk focuses on daytime dining with a full brunch-style menu. They will also offer a full bar in Roswell.

Tate first visited Toasted Yolk in Dothan, Alabama, and she was drawn to the quality of the food and the brand’s values. “I’m a brunch girl anyway,” Tate said. “The food is so good. That’s what I love about it. I love what they stand for.”

Her go-to items include the Southwest bowl, shrimp and grits, and avocado toast. Her other favorites include the eggs Benedict. “All the food is good,” she said.

Tate wants the restaurant to become part of guests’ regular routines. “You can come in with your family, you can meet your girlfriend and boyfriend for lunch, have a business meeting, or just come sit down and enjoy a meal,” Tate said.

Ownership Background

Tate is preparing to retire after 26 years in the military. She said the move into restaurant ownership is tied to her interest in service and community.

“I’m big on community. I’m big on what I can do to make somebody else’s life better.,” she said.

She is an executive leadership coach and said those experiences shape how she wants to lead her team.

“I know the heartaches that people deal with, not wanting to get out the car because they don’t like their job." She said her goal is a “very safe atmosphere, very organic, family-centered atmosphere that people love coming to.”

Tate has signed on for three Toasted Yolk locations. Future sites in the Atlanta area are still to be determined.
