Coming Soon Cape Coral: MOBz Eatery
Here's the latest of the newest restaurant coming to Cape Coral.
CAPE CORAL, FL — MOBz Eatery, a new Caribbean-Southern fusion restaurant from Harold "Chef G" Shipley and Sandra Roberts, is preparing to open at 1625 Cape Coral Parkway E #103, Cape Coral, FL 33904, Shipley told Business Debut in a phone interview.
“We started from a food truck that was a tour bus that I used to have,” Shipley told Business Debut.
What to Expect
Expect MOBz Eatery to serve Caribbean-Southern fusion along with beer and wine.
Menu items will include jerk chicken, oxtail, mac and cheese, fried cabbage, fried rice and frog legs, Shipley told Business Debut.
“This is an eclectic mix of stuff,” Shipley said.
He said the menu reflects flavors he picked up while traveling, including time in New Orleans, and his upbringing in New York.
“I just brought a taste from everything I’ve experienced,” Shipley told Business Debut.
Opening Timeline
Shipley said the brand began in a Port Charlotte food truck about four years ago. He said they launched the truck during COVID and worked through storms and other challenges on the way to opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
A grand opening is planned for September 5, Shipley told Business Debut.
Hours
MOBz Eatery plans to open six days a week from 12 p.m. — 3 a.m., according to Shipley.
Specific opening day hours are to be announced.
