A Destination for Parents and Children is Coming to Cape Coral: My Village Play Cafe
The business is built on the saying that "it takes a village to raise a child."
CAPE CORAL, FL — My Village Play Cafe, a new indoor play cafe concept from the couple Carolina and Zavier Bravo, is in development at 1109 Del Prado Blvd S Unit 2, Cape Coral, FL 33990, Bravo told Business Debut in a recent phone interview.
Bravo said the idea grew from her experience as a parent in Cape Coral. “We have this belief that it takes a village to raise a child,” Bravo told Business Debut. She said the couple wanted an indoor place where parents could sit with coffee while children play, and where families connect over the shared realities of parenting.
What to Expect
The concept combines a cafe at the front of the space with an indoor playground in the back. The total footprint is more than 3,400 square feet, Bravo shared with Business Debut.
Parents will enter into the cafe area, which will include booths, tables, and a bar counter facing the playground. “Parents can sit facing the playground and supervise the children but can also bring their laptops and work."
Cameras will cover the play area, and a television in the cafe will livestream the feed. Bravo said this setup is meant to help caregivers keep eyes on children even when they move to the back of the playground.
"Our village themed playground is intentionally designed to support childhood development through imaginative play, physical activity, problem solving, social interaction, and confidence-building. From climbing and exploring to pretend play and cooperative activities, children develop important motor, cognitive, social, and emotional skills all while having fun," Bravo reported.

Menu and Vision
Bravo said the cafe will launch with a compact menu and expand over time. Planned drinks include coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, smoothies, specialty lattes, and matcha.
Food items will include panini, chicken dishes such as dino nuggets for children, chips, and packaged snacks like fruit cups. Bravo said My Village Play Cafe plans to partner with a local bakery for desserts.
She also plans to host milestone events. “We want to be part of the milestone birthdays and special moments,” Bravo told Business Debut. The space will be available for birthday parties and similar gatherings.
Bravo’s professional background is in health care, including work as a labor and delivery nurse and pediatric case manager. She said that experience with children shaped the cafe’s focus and programming.

Opening Timeline
Construction is underway. Bravo said the team is targeting an opening in about two to three months, with the exact date to be announced due to permitting.
Playground equipment has already been delivered, which Bravo described as a major project milestone.
