Boustan Mediterranean Restaurant Coming to Coral Gables

Boustan, a long-running Canadian franchise with 66+ locations, is preparing to expand into the United States market with its first Florida location in Coral Gables, franchisor and developer Emad Saad reported to Business Debut.

The restaurant, to be located at 2209 SW 37th Ave, Miami, FL 33145, will offer a menu featuring gyros, shawarma, poutine, salads and more. Boustan's offerings include chicken, beef, and lamb gyros, as well as falafel and vegan shiitake mushroom options. The menu also includes shawarma bowls and various salads. Saad revealed plans for further expansion in Florida, with a Tampa location in the works, though the exact address is not yet available. The company is opening a mix of corporate-owned stores with local operating partners and franchising opportunities. The initial locations will be corporate owned, Saad said.

Boustan's first locations in the United States will be in New Jersey. The company aims to establish a presence along the East Coast before considering expansion into central or western regions of the United States, Saad reported.
