Slipaway Food Truck Park and Marina Opening in Spring 2025
Slipaway Food Truck Park and Marina is set to debut in spring 2025, partner Gary Aubuchon shared with Business Debut. The upcoming eatertainment venue will feature 10 food truck vendors, all of which have already been selected, with specific vendor details to be announced soon.
The space will boast 300 permanent seats spread across a main pavilion, six satellite pavilions, and seating along a waterfront promenade overlooking the Caloosahatchee River. For special events and larger gatherings, the park will be able to accommodate up to 500 guests. A dedicated stage pavilion will host live entertainment.

Florida Boy Burger Co. Opening on Del Prado
Florida Boy Burger Co., created by Roger Lolly and Louis Cioffi, is part of a multi-faceted brand that celebrates Florida’s rugged wilderness, ranching traditions, and iconic wildlife. In addition to the restaurant, the brand features a reality TV show and an apparel line: Florida Boy Inc. The restaurant concept, which recently opened in Fort Myers, is now set to expand to Cape Coral and beyond.
The Cape Coral location will feature all the hallmarks of the brand: a freshwater fish tank with baby alligators, Old Florida-inspired décor celebrating wildlife and ranching, and a menu of delicious burgers, truffle fries, salads, and more. The menu can be viewed here.
Florida Boy Burger Co. is slated to open in Cape Coral toward the end of January at 1402 Del Prado Blvd S Unit 4, Cape Coral, FL 33990. As for the next location, the team is scouting for the perfect location and aims to open there this summer.

Fresh Catch Inland Opening at Coconut Point Mall
Fresh Catch Inland, a new dining concept from the team behind Fresh Catch Bistro, is set to open soon at Coconut Point Mall in Estero, co-owner Franco Russo shared with Business Debut.
Located at 7991 Plaza del Lago Dr, Estero, FL 33928 in a former TGI Fridays, the restaurant will offer a more casual yet upscale dining experience compared to its Fort Myers Beach counterpart, which recently reopened after being destroyed by Hurricane Ian.
The menu will focus on seafood while also featuring land-based options like steaks, burgers, and sandwiches to cater to a variety of tastes. With seating for 200 guests, Fresh Catch Inland will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week, operating from 11 am - 9 pm with potential to stay open as late as 10 pm during weekends. Russo also shared plans to introduce a brunch menu in the future.

Tigress Restaurant and Rooftop Bar Opening in Perry Hotel
Chef Dale Talde is bringing Tigress Restaurant and Easy Tiger Rooftop Bar to life at The Perry Hotel in Naples. Chef Talde shared with Business Debut that Tigress, a Cantonese chophouse, will feature bold Cantonese flavors and a steakhouse-style meat program. The restaurant will seat 75 guests indoors and 50 on its outdoor terrace.
Out on the rooftop, guests will find Easy Tiger, a nightlife-focused concept with a 25-seat bar with additional lounge seating. Helmed by renowned mixologist Lynnette Marrero, Easy Tiger’s inventive bar program aims to create a vibrant late-night atmosphere, Chef Talde said.
Chef Talde, who serves as the hotel's Director of Food and Beverage, also oversees Poolside Delights, a bodega offering light bites and drinks to pool goers, and Perry Coffee Co., a café serving breakfast items and specialty coffee.
