Know what there is to know about Sugarphin before they open.
DULUTH, GA – Sugarphin, a new cafe and restaurant focused on Asian-inspired drinks and street food, is planned for 3350 Steve Reynolds Blvd Duluth, GA 30096, GA. Owner Duc Tran shared about the concept with us over the phone.
Tran described Sugarphin as a social gathering place for young people, with a focus on design and visual appeal. “The atmosphere is very beautiful and very trendy,” Tran told Business Debut. He said the team is building out a space that he characterized as “very luxury upscale at a very reasonable price.”
The restaurant will occupy about 3,400 square feet. Tran said the brand is original and not a franchise.

What to Expect
Sugarphin will offer a sit-down, full-service format. Tran said the space is being designed for people to meet and spend time together.
He expects the interior to emphasize a modern look, with details aimed at a younger crowd. Seating capacity and final interior layout are still being completed.
Tran also operates Mai Tai in Buckhead, which he said has been open about five weeks.

The menu will center on Asian street food and finger foods. “Japanese, Vietnamese, a little bit of Korean basically,” Tran shared.
Opening Timeline
Tran said the team is targeting a fall opening for Sugarphin. The exact opening date is to be announced.
