BROWARD COUNTY
Capriotti's Sandwich Shop
Franchisee's Marco Roca and Marco Roca Jr. spoke with FFBW to discuss their plans to bring another location of Capriotti's Sandwich Shop to Plantation. The pair have more plans for South Florida as well.
Frozen Fantasy World
A new dessert truck is planning to debut in South Florida, owner Melissa Brown told FFBW. Frozen Fantasy World will attend events and festivals to serve their unique frozen treats and desserts.
Brown shared that the truck will likely open on July 1st. Frozen Fantasy World will feature flavors of ice cream like red velvet cake ice cream, key lime cake ice cream and more.
Brown is also the owner of That's My Dog Food Truck, which specializes in gourmet hot dogs. The truck has been in business for eight years, she said. You can follow them here.

PALM BEACH COUNTY
Waxin's
Two new locations of Waxin's, a high-end Scandinavian-inspired restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens, are in the works for South Florida. One is planned for West Palm Beach, and the other is going to Naples.

Food Guatemex
A new food truck is opening soon in the Fort Myers area, owner Vilma Cedillo told FFBW.
Guatemex will open as soon as the end of this month if all continues smoothly. They will serve a fusion of Mexican cuisine and Guatemalan food.

BREVARD COUNTY
Simple Kitchen and Market
This past week, FFBW spoke with Jason Freshly of Fuego and Salt to get the scoop on a new retail and cafe space. The new business is set to debut around June, if all continues to progress well.
Mobile Bubble Cat
A new bubble tea and coffee food truck is debuting soon in Brevard County, owner Jennifer Charron told FFBW. Charron is opening Mobile Bubble Cat as part of her plan to bring a permanent cat cafe to the area.
Initially intending to open a cat cafe, Charron faced difficulty finding a landlord who would agree to rent a space that allowed for uncaged cats. So, to raise money to buy her own space, Charron is debuting Mobile Bubble Cat.
The truck will serve boba teas, coffee and water. Planning to open this summer, Mobile Bubble Cat will travel throughout the state to events and festivals, including cosplay conventions too.
An exact opening date isn't available yet, but keep an eye on the brand's website.
LAKE COUNTY
Uncorked
Restaurateur Nancy Lackey shared details about her new retail, dining and drinking concept called Uncorked. The new business will open right on Lake Eustis.

Lovebird Almost Famous Chicken
Almost Famous Hospitality CEO Jeremy Brumley dished about the new Winter Haven location to FFBW. However, the hospitality group has another concept up their sleeve for Lakeland too.
PINELLAS COUNTY
Johnny Tella
A new food truck serving gourmet milk shakes in preparing to debut in St. Petersburg soon, owner Marcos Mendes told FFBW.
Johnny Tella will be opening next month, Mendes said. Once opened, they will operate seven days a week. Mendes said that they will primarily attend food truck events and festivals.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
Village Inn
Brandon is getting an updated location of Village Inn to take place of the unit at: 1995 W Lumsden Rd, Brandon, FL 33511. Franchisee Danny Lehan shared details, photos and a timeline for the new location.
Viet Sandwich
A new Vietnamese takeout restaurant is opening in Tampa very soon. Owner Peter Dang told FFBW that all that stands between him and opening is getting his plans approved and his restaurant inspected.
Viet Sandwich will offer dishes like banh mi, buns and other grab and go Vietnamese cuisine. Find Viet Sandwich at: 8502 N Armenia Ave #2a, Tampa, FL 33604.
While there will be a couple of tables inside, Dang shared that they will primarily offer takeout. Expect the business to open in a matter of a few weeks.
CITRUS COUNTY
Aggregation Distilling and Sirenia Coffee and Wine Bar
Jim and David Briley are working to bring an exciting distillery, food truck, beer and wine bar and more to Crystal River. With Aggregation Distillery Company already operating, Sirenia will be soon to open next door.
Additionally, Jim Briley is expanding the distillery's space.
VOLUSIA COUNTY
That Bihh Good
A seafood trailer opened the past weekend in DeLand, owner Alexis Brown told FFBW. The That Bihh Good brand has been around for about three years as a caterer and pop up, and now Brown is debuting her trailer.
That Bihh Good is making a name for itself by serving delicious seafood boils and fried seafood. Find them this weekend at: 805 New York Ave W, Deland FL 32720 from 1 pm until sell out.
