Simple Kitchen and Market Coming to Melbourne
The local chef behind Fuego & Salt is opening a retail and dining concept.
A new market and food hall-style cafe is opening this summer in Melbourne, owner and chef Jason Freshly told FFBW. Simple Kitchen and Market will offer a specialty grocery store and market, two counter-service cafes and a space for cooking classes.
Freshly reported that his catering company Fuego & Salt will be behind one of the counter service cafes, and the other will be called Pothos and will be run by chef Keenun Barley.
The cafes will be open for breakfast and lunch, Freshly said. They will offer around 60 seats for guests between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The concept as a whole will likely operate 7 days a week.
