Midtown Atlanta Welcomes Guru Revolving Sushi Grand Opening
Guru Revolving Sushi launches in Midtown with a conveyor belt, ramen, and signature rolls.

ATLANTA, GA — Guru Revolving Sushi, a new Japanese dining concept from owner Terrance Lau, held its grand opening on October 3rd at 903 Peachtree St NE Unit A, Atlanta, GA 30309. Lau told Business Debut the restaurant combines fast casual convenience with full-service elements, creating a hybrid dining experience.
What to Expect
Guru Revolving Sushi features a conveyor belt that continuously circulates plates of sushi around the dining room. Guests may take dishes directly from the belt, with each plate priced at $3.49. In addition to classics like California and Philadelphia rolls, the lineup includes house specialty rolls unique to Guru.
Every table is also equipped with a tablet for ordering ramen, specialty rolls, or hot entrées like grilled teriyaki chicken with broccoli. Orders placed on the tablets are delivered to tables by a train system running above the conveyor belt.
Servers remain on hand to provide drinks, refills, and table service. The restaurant is currently in the process of securing its alcohol license, with plans to eventually serve wine, beer, and sake.
Ownership and Vision
Lau, who grew up in the restaurant industry, also owns Resolving Sushi Factory in Marietta. “Customers can come in for a quick lunch or stay and enjoy a full-service dining experience with drinks,” Lau told Business Debut. “It’s really a concept that offers both.”
The Midtown restaurant seats about 100 guests, including 14 standard booths, 6 larger booths, and a sushi bar for 10.
