Lily Coffee Tea & Bread Opening Second Café in Augusta
The new Augusta location will feature coffee, tea, banh mi, and cozy hangout spaces.

AUGUSTA, GA – Lily Coffee Tea & Bread is preparing to open its second brick-and-mortar location this September at 3626 Walton Wy Ext #7, Augusta, GA 30909. Owner Lily Nguyen confirmed to Business Debut that they already received health department approval and are awaiting a final visit license.
“We are planning by late September. Everything looks ready for now,” Nguyen said.
The Walton Way location is larger than the downtown spot, featuring 36 indoor seats and an additional outdoor area in a fast-casual setting. The place is designed to allow people to have coffee slowly and relax after working, just like the Vietnamese coffee culture.
The cafe will also offer fun activities, such as reading books, playing guitar, and chess, making it an inviting place to hang out. There are cozy corners that are great for taking photos and meeting friends. The café will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., as it is conveniently located near the school, allowing them to serve students who arrive early.
Menu Highlights
The second café will feature the same main menu, including:
- Vietnamese coffee
- Boba tea
- Fruit tea
- Freshly made banh mi sandwiches
- Dumplings
- Spring roll
- Teriyaki
- And more...

All food and drinks are made on the spot to keep them fresh. Lily also noted that the shop sources its coffee and tea directly from Vietnam to maintain the quality and authentic taste.
“Vietnamese coffee mainly uses robusta beans, a strong coffee bean, and has a good aroma. Customers really love the flavor,” Nguyen said.
Authentic Vietnamese Flavors with a Family Legacy
Lily Coffee Tea & Bread first began as a food truck before opening its downtown Augusta café near Augusta University and the hospital. The new location opening plans were in response to community requests, especially from healthcare professionals who wanted the team to expand its locations because they loved the menu.
Nguyen comes from a family of restaurateurs in Vietnam, who have operated a restaurant for over 30 years. She is eager to expand and bring Vietnamese flavors and culture to Augusta.
“I wanted to bring the Vietnamese food culture to the community. It's very authentic,” Nguyen said.
Nguyen also emphasized her gratitude to the local government and the community for their support. “We highly appreciate the local government and the local community. They support us from day one when we set up, and they keep supporting us,” she said.
Franchise Opportunities and Online Presence
Customers can also order online through the brand’s website. Franchise opportunities are also beginning this year for those interested in bringing the concept to other cities.
