Cookie Fix Opening at Medley This Fall

The Alabama-based cookie brand will bring warm, gooey cookies and desserts to Johns Creek.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Cookie Fix, the Alabama-founded cookie brand, is set to open at Medley this fall at 4000 Medley Blvd, Suite 4105, Johns Creek, GA 30097. The franchised location will be operated by Chunara Group, partner Jay Shah told Business Debut.

What to Expect

Cookie Fix will serve freshly baked cookies, desserts and drinks. They specialize in serving decadent, gooey cookies and not "plain, flat, lifeless cookies," per the website.

Additionally, they will have desserts and drinks like hot chocolate and frozen yogurt. Shah said the shop will be located across from Five Daughters Bakery, creating a dessert and coffee-focused area within Medley.

Cookie Fix began as a home-based cookie business in Alabama before growing into a brick-and-mortar brand, Shah told Business Debut. He said the founder opened her first store in Birmingham after the business gained traction from home, and the concept has since expanded into franchising.

The Johns Creek shop will be the brand’s 12th location, Shah told Business Debut.

Shah said Cookie Fix’s cookies come from homemade recipes and are prepared through the brand’s Alabama commissary before being finished in-store. “Every cookie is baked here every two hours,” Shah told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Cookie Fix is scheduled to open October 29, timed with Medley’s opening, Shah told Business Debut.

Shah said the team is also looking for additional opportunities in South Atlanta, including Union City and Peachtree City.

Chunara Group

The Cookie Fix location is franchised by the Chunara Group of Companies, an Atlanta-based franchise group with ownership interests across multiple restaurant brands.

According to Chunara Group’s website, the company’s portfolio includes brands such as Dunkin’, Checkers, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Take 5 Oil Change, Nothing Bundt Cakes and BurgerFi. Shah said the group is primarily active in Georgia, with additional locations in markets including Kentucky and Texas.
