Comfort Café Opening in DeLand
A new cafe is coming yo Deland via the owners of All Mac Matters.
The same team behind the recently opened All Mac Matters eatery in the Eustis Marketplace Food Hall is bringing a new concept to DeLand. Comfort Café will be a larger counterpart of All Mac Matters.
Co-owner Jonathan Hunt told FFBW that they will serve some of the staple mac and cheese recipes known at their kiosk in the food hall, but they will also expand the menu to include salads, wraps and rice bowls, maintaining a global fusion focus.
We can expect to find Comfort Café at: 2727 S Woodland Blvd, DeLand, FL 32720. The space is about 1,500 square feet and will offer dine-in options to its guests, along with takeout and delivery. Hunt is expecting to open in 3-4 months. The All Mac Matters kiosk is currently planned to continue operating when the restaurant opens.
All Mac Matters opened in the Eustis Marketplace in December of 2023. They focus on serving global fusion mac and cheese. Once of Hunt's favorite dishes is the Caribbean mac and cheese, which is topped with jerk chicken, cilantro-infused lime crema, plantain chips and more.
