B'z Gelati Going Brick and Mortar in Gainesville
Gainesville entrepreneur Brandon Grabhorn is expanding his business.
Entrepreneur Brandon Grabhorn is taking his popular mobile gelato shop into a brick and mortar location soon. Grabhorn told FFBW that he is planning to open by the end of the summer.
The B'z Gelati brand started when Orlando native Grabhorn graduated from the University of Florida. While attending, he realized a need for gelato in Gainesville and started the company in 2018. Now, they have two trucks and are going brick and mortar at: 1130 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609.
The building was formerly an office space, Grabhorn said, and they're converting it to provide walk-up window service with outdoor seating. Being in a physical location, B'z Gelati will offer more flavors than the trucks do. They plan to operate Wed-Sun from 12-8 pm. They may also open on Tuesdays and close later during the school year.
Additionally, Baloo's Donuts and Coffee will be on the property in a food truck. They'll serve made-to-order donuts and coffee, Grabhorn said. Jason Garrett will be operating the truck.
Look out for B'z Gelati and Baloo's Donuts and Coffee to open in July or August. Follow B'z Gelati online.
