What to Expect
Mickens said the space will feature between 35 and 40 arcade games alongside nine pinball machines. All machines will be set to free play, with guests paying a single admission price for the day.
Once a customer has paid for the day, they will receive a wristband, which will allow them to leave and return the same day. Galactic Arcade & Bar includes a party room that will be available for birthday party rentals.
Guests can also expect to enjoy a beer and wine bar along with several non-alcoholic options. He said the venue is planned as all ages during the day, with final late-night age policies still under review.
The bar top was built by Mickens and decorated with comic books from the business' neighbor, TBS Comics, which Mickens has frequented since the 1980's.

"I've always enjoyed playing pinball and arcade," Mickens said. A third generation business owner, Mickens runs Bj's Screens and Windows. He decided to start Galactic Arcade & Bar because of a deep love for playing and collecting arcade machines.
"The more we started collecting I just got to the point maybe to start doing it for a living," he told Business Debut. Galactic Arcade & Bar will feature three Japanese-import rhythm games, Dancerush Stardom, Jubeat Ave and beatmania IIDX.
