A new family entertainment venue has opened in Fort Walton Beach.
FORT WALTON BEACH, FL — Jason Nieves and his wife Melissa Caban have opened The GAB Spot, a new family entertainment concept featuring bowling, arcade games, axe throwing, and dining, on May 4 at 913 North Beale Parkway, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547.
The name stands for Gelato, Arcade, and Bowling, and Nieves told Business Debut the space will bring multiple attractions together under one roof.

What to Expect
The GAB Spot is designed as a full-service entertainment venue with eight bowling lanes, six duckpin lanes, five axe throwing lanes, and about 40 arcade games. The facility spans nearly 19,470 square feet and includes seating for more than 200 guests throughout the building, Nieves told Business Debut.
Guests can choose to dine in the restaurant or be served directly at their bowling or axe throwing lanes. “We wanted to create a space where you could actually have a visualization of the entire area when you're enjoying your meal,” Nieves told Business Debut.
The venue will also offer party packages for birthdays and corporate events, with options for bowling, arcade play, and axe throwing experiences.

Menu and Vision
The full-service restaurant and bar features a wide-ranging menu curated by two chefs, with a focus on shareables, handhelds, and comfort-driven items. Guests can expect dishes like wings, nachos, pretzels, firecracker shrimp tacos, cheesesteaks, and chicken tenders, along with starters such as Southwest egg rolls and trio fries served three ways with basil aioli, chipotle crema, and buttermilk ranch, Nieves told Business Debut.
A signature item is the Sonoran hot dog, wrapped in bacon and topped with pinto beans, Spanish onions, Roma tomatoes, jalapeño sauce, mustard, and mayonnaise on bolillo bread.
The menu also includes flatbreads like the Supreme and the “Natural Hot” with buffalo sauce, fried chicken, mozzarella, pickle slices, and hot honey, as well as four smash burgers including a Southwest burger with pepper jack, fried jalapeños, applewood bacon, and chipotle mayo, Nieves told Business Debut.
For dessert, the concept will feature gelato sourced from G.S. Gelato, with 18 flavors available. “I think what’s really going to be a standout here is our gelato,” Nieves told Business Debut.
Hours
The GAB Spot will be open seven days a week. Hours are 11 a.m. – midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nieves told Business Debut.
