FORT WALTON BEACH, FL – Mambos Restaurant and Lounge is preparing to open in about a month at 102 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547, co-owner Mario Jimenez told Business Debut.
The new concept will be a Latin-inspired restaurant, lounge, and entertainment space with a tropical atmosphere and an emphasis on seafood and cocktails.
What to Expect
The concept blends a lounge, sports bar, and restaurant in an open 6,000-square-foot space, Jimenez shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.
The layout will seat about 200 people. Large TVs and a big LED screen will show sports, and the lounge side will host live music. On weekends, live entertainment will be starting around 10 p.m.
Menu and Vision
The menu centers on Latin cuisine. He plans dishes that draw from Mexican, Central American, Puerto Rican, and Honduran cooking.
“The fresh seafood and the drinks is basically going to be the main thing,” Jimenez told Business Debut.
Opening Timeline
Jimenez said he is targeting an opening in about one month from the July 20 interview date.
Hours
Mambos Restaurant and Lounge will open seven days a week. On the weekend, the business will remain open late.
