Three J’s Ice Cream Opening Brick-and-Mortar in Winter Haven
Known for customizable rolled ice cream, the business is opening its first physical location this May.
WINTER HAVEN, FL — Three J’s Ice Cream is preparing to open a new brick-and-mortar location at 1600 Dundee Rd, Winter Haven, FL 33884. The new business is targeting a mid-May debut pending final inspections and licensing approvals, Baker told Business Debut.
The concept, named after her sons Jericho, Jhennie, and Jheptzyn, builds on a growing food trailer business that has already established a following across Central Florida.
What to Expect
The new shop will expand on Baker’s existing rolled ice cream concept.
Inside the Winter Haven location, guests can expect a bright, family-focused space with a small seating area and a visible cold plate station where the ice cream is made fresh. “When you come in… you’ll be able to watch it being made, and that’s what really draws people,” Baker told Business Debut.
The existing trailer services Okeechobee, Highlands, Henry, and Glades counties, with occasional events in Hollywood, Florida, and is available for private bookings through social media, Baker told Business Debut.
Menu and Vision
Three J’s Ice Cream specializes in rolled ice cream made on a cold plate at approximately negative 21 degrees, starting with a cream base and customized with mix-ins. The menu includes more than 20 flavor options, ranging from cookies and cream to fruit-based combinations, with the flexibility to create custom blends.
Popular items include Fruity Pebbles and cookies and cream, while Baker’s personal favorite is strawberry with sprinkles. Seasonal offerings rotate throughout the year, such as Christmas tree snack cakes in winter and Peeps during Easter.
“I always take suggestions… I’ll have customers come in and they’ll say, ‘oh, you know what would be good,’ and then I’ll get it and keep it on hand until it becomes popular,” Baker told Business Debut.
The business began when Baker decided to turn an idea into reality, building a food trailer from the ground up with her father despite having no prior restaurant experience. She said the concept was inspired by her family’s love for rolled ice cream and a desire to create something of her own.
“I had an idea… and we just built it to how I wanted it,” Baker told Business Debut.
Her family has remained a key part of the operation as it has grown. Baker said her parents and siblings regularly step in to help with events and operations, especially when the trailer gets busy.
“If I call my brothers… they’ll come… wherever we are,” she told Business Debut, noting that their support has made it easier to expand the business into a permanent storefront.
