The Twisted Turtle Opening in Former Beach Theater Space - Starting with a Food Truck
An new concept is taking over the space previously occupied by Beach Theater.
A new food truck is opening soon to establish the Twisted Turtle brand while their restaurant is pending approval from the city of Fort Myers Beach. The food truck is planning to debut in about 3o days, co-owner Kory Nanke told FFBW.
The truck and restaurant will open at: 6425 Estero Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931, the former home of Beach Theater, Nanke said. The truck will offer menu items like: smash burgers, grouper sandwiches, tacos and more. They will have outdoor seating for about 60 guests.
The plan is to operate from 11 am - 7 pm seven days a week. Once the restaurant opens and they begin serving alcohol, the hours will run later into the evening.
While the truck will open in a month, the brick and mortar restaurant doesn't have a timeline yet. They are waiting on approval from the city before commencing their build out.
