Beachin Eats
A new food boat is opening soon in Key West, Peter Nicholsen told FFBW. Beachin Eats will be a sandbar food boat staked out around Snipe Keys, Nicholsen said.
Beachin Eats will serve classic American fare like burgers, cheesesteaks, fries, hot dogs and much more. Nicholsen expects to open in mid June if all continues normally.

Soo Full Smoothies
A new smoothie and juice shop is coming to Miami Springs, owner Joshua Placeres told FFBW. Soo Full Smoothies will serve natural smoothies and juices aimed at boosting the health of its guests.
Placeres is a founder and board member of the Green Haven Project, a non-profit aimed at feeding the hungry and malnourished in the nearby communities. By teaching people to grow their own fruits and vegetables, the Green Haven Project helps people gain access to healthy foods.
With this background, Placeres hopes to support the community's health and wellness with his smoothies and juices. Find the new cafe at: 1 S Royal Poinciana Blvd #104, Miami Springs, FL 33166.
Soo Full Smoothies is projected to open in two months if licensing and permitting are completed smoothly. Look out for the new shop soon.
BROWARD COUNTY
Jimbo Wings
A new food truck is planning to open the first week of June, owner Jimmy Innocent told FFBW. Jimbo Wings will be serving food along Copans Road in Pompano Beach.
Jimbo Wings will have a menu of wings, cajun fried shrimp, steak and cheese egg rolls, smash burgers and a spicy chicken sandwich.
The truck will stake out at the Pep Boys at: 240 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064 Wed-Sat for lunch and early dinner. On Mondays, Jimbo Wings will be at Mercedes Benz at: 350 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.

LAKE COUNTY
My Italian Pizza
A new pizzeria is planning to open soon in Yalaha soon, owner Javier Hernandez told FFBW.
My Italian Pizza is planning to open in as soon as a month or two, Hernandez said. The pizzeria will have 80-90 seats inside and will be located at: 27022 Indian Ridge Dr, Yalaha, FL 34797.
Hernandez said that construction is complete and they are now waiting on final licensing and permits to come through.
POLK COUNTY
105 Cafe
A new cafe and event space is in the works for Lake Wales, co-owner Giovanni Notaristefano told FFBW.
The concept will be divided into two sections: Patio 105, which will be the event space meant for celebrations, events and gatherings. The other aspect will be 105 Cafe, a daytime cafe serving breakfast and lunch. Notaristefano shared with FFBW.
The concepts are planning to open at: 105 E Stuart Ave, Lake Wales, FL 33853. An opening timeline isn't available yet.
PINELLAS COUNTY
The Violet Stone
A new location is in store for the Violet Stone, a St. Pete pizzeria that opened last year. Owner Daniel Fekete shared a few details with FFBW.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
Vegan AF Sunshine State
New Jersey-area restaurateurs Norma Perez and William Toledo are bringing vegan cuisine to Florida, Toledo shared with FFBW.
The couple formerly ran a restaurant called Vegan AF in New Jersey, and now they are going mobile in Florida. Toledo said that all that stands between them and opening to the public are some final licenses and permits.
Vegan AF Sunshine State will offer 100% plant based dishes like: burgers, tacos, quesadillas, teriyaki and more. Once opened, they will travel across the state to sell their food at events and festivals.

Ocho Trece
A new Mediterranean concept is opening across from the University of Tampa, owner Manuel Bravo told FFBW. Ocho Trece is Bravo's first restaurant in the United States, but he owns at least one in Spain as well.
Ocho Trece will serve Mediterranean cuisine, Bravo said. Exact menu items aren't available at this time. Bravo reported that they will have a full bar in the restaurant and will have about 20 seats for guests.
The restaurant will appear at: 800 W Kennedy Blvd t, Tampa, FL 33606. They are converting a formerly retail space into the restaurant. Ocho Trece is planning to open in a few months.

Zen Pho & Noodles
Three new locations of Zen Pho & Noodles are opening between Tampa, Newberry and Gainesville, co-owner Hung Nguyen told FFBW.
LEON COUNTY
Girls from Brazil
A new authentic Brazilian-style food truck is coming to Tallahassee from owners Alessandra Tuasco and Lais De Paula. The two natives of Brazil are bringing traditional, homestyle Brazilian recipes to Tallahassee soon.
FLAGLER COUNTY
Happy Chef Bistro and Deli
Originally from Bunnell, Chef Oleg Popok is bringing Happy Chef to Flagler Beach this summer. Popok told FFBW that he will open the same Eastern European bistro, but he will also include a 3,000 square foot grocery market in the building as well.
The new location is planned for: 210 Old Kings Rd S, Flagler Beach, FL 32136. Popok expects to open sometime in June.
There will be about eight tables in the bistro space, Popok said.

DUVAL COUNTY
Screaming Cat Ice Cream and Coffee
A new coffee and ice cream shop is coming to Jacksonville via real estate investor and manager Isaac Camargo.
Runyon's Smokehouse
A new 48' BBQ trailer is opening soon in Jacksonville soon from Kathy and Mike Runyon. The Runyon's Smokehouse trailer will be serving a vast menu of BBQ to the greater Jacksonville-area, the Runyun's shared with FFBW.
Their menu will consist of scratch made dishes, like handmade bratwurst, hot dogs, sauces and rubs and slow cooked meats. Their truck is almost ready to operate, and their first booking is the Tailgate for the Troops charity event at the Cadillac dealership at: 7999 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32244. The event will be on Saturday, June 8th.
Following the event, the Runyon's will be popping up to serve their BBQ in various places. You can follow them online and on Facebook to keep up to date.
BAY COUNTY
GetChewaBox
From food truck to brick and mortar, GetChewaBox is bringing Southern Creole style cooking to Panama City, Chef Antonio Middleton told FFBW. The new GetChewaBox is opening after establishing its brand by serving delicious po'boys.
The GetChewaBox restaurant will open at: 1415 E 5th St, Panama City, FL 32401. Middleton reported that they will offer counter service and will have 45 seats inside. Additionally, they are trying to obtain a beer and wine license.
Construction has recently started, and Middleton estimates opening toward the end of July.
ESCAMBIA COUNTY
Smalls Sliders
Louisiana-based cheeseburger sliders concept is opening their first Florida location in Pensacola, franchisee Matt Gallagher told FFBW.
