Redland Ranch Opening in Miami After $1MM Revamp
Historic farmer's market and event space reopening soon.
The historic Redland Ranch in Miami will be re-opening soon. Husband and wife ownership team Edilberto Morillo and Eliane Mayer Jara bought the property in May 2023. As of now, it looks like the ranch is returning in January 2024.
The new Redland Ranch will be a faithful renovation of what the concept originally stood for: good food, relaxing outdoor experiences, events and community. Morillo said that the investment in the property has gone to redoing the restaurant, bathrooms, adding outdoor covered seating, event space for concerts and many other details.
The restaurant will see an expansion of its menu, which will include offerings like: smoothies, sandwiches, arepas, empanadas, wraps, smoothie bowls, salads, chicken salad and much more. Additionally, Redland Ranch will still have a market for goods and products that people can buy to take home.
Morillo is a musician as well as entrepreneur, and he performs by the name Bachaco. He has a deep love for Redland Ranch and told FFBW that he will "serve the culture Redland Ranch created" in the updated facility.
To follow along with the progress, check out their website and Facebook. Their address will be: 14655 SW 232nd St, Miami, FL 33170.
