Low and Slow Smokehouse Coming to Lakeland Soon
A new BBQ joint is on the block.
A North Carolina-founded brand Low and Slow Smokehouse is planning to expand into Central Florida. Their first Florida restaurant is coming to Lakeland.
Owner of the brand Daniel Bailey told FFBW that he and his team are very close to opening their doors. All that stands between them is a bit of red tape. The Lakeland Low and Slow will serve a full menu of BBQ, sides and drinks from the bar.

This first BBQ restaurant won't be the last in the area. Over the next two years, Bailey anticipates bringing two more locations to Polk County. Over a five year period, a broader Central Florida expansion may occur as well.
Bailey expects to open in mid December. Expect them to open at 6 A.M. 7 days a week to serve Lakeland breakfast, lunch and dinner.
