Opening in St. Cloud: Tacos My Guey Coming Soon

ST CLOUD, FL — Fast-casual Mexican concept Tacos My Guey is planning to open a new location at 1511 Belladonna Pl, St Cloud, FL 34771 in late November, franchisee Alejandro Rodriguez told Business Debut in a phone interview.

Rodriguez said the Saint Cloud restaurant will be the brand’s seventh location. Tacos My Guey is a family-owned business run by two brothers and a small group of franchise partners.

What to Expect

Rodriguez described the menu as focused on quality Mexican dishes with an emphasis on healthier options. However, the brand still offers classic plates like birria and more.

“We focus on healthy but also good food,” Rodriguez told Business Debut. “We care about our brand, we care about people, we care about customers."

Tacos My Guey operates as a fast-casual Mexican restaurant where guests order at the counter and dine in or take food to go.

Rodriguez said the Saint Cloud store will run seven days a week and feature extended late-night hours on weekends. The restaurant will also offer beer and wine-based margaritas.

Ownership Background

Rodriguez is a franchise owner within the Tacos My Guey system and part owner of the downtown Orlando location.

He is approaching growth with a focus on operations and brand standards. Rodriguez told Business Debut that he and his partners want to keep development within a circle of family and friends while they refine branding, food quality and service.

Rodriguez is also looking beyond the Saint Cloud opening. He shared that he plans to open one to two more Tacos My Guey locations next year.

Sunday through Thursday, hours are planned as 11 a.m. — midnight. Friday and Saturday, hours are planned as 11 a.m. — 3 a.m.
