New Family Entertainment Venue Opening in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, FL — Launch Family Entertainment Center is planning to open at 8102 N. Davis Hwy., Pensacola, FL 32514, bringing a large-scale family entertainment venue to the area. Owner John Reams told Business Debut the location is targeting an opening between September 1 and mid-September, pending final construction and landlord work on the building.

The Pensacola location will be the first franchise owned by Reams and was developed in partnership with his son, Jeremy Reams, who first discovered the brand while visiting a Launch location in Orlando with his children.

What to Expect

Launch Family Entertainment Center is designed as a full family entertainment destination, offering activities for toddlers through teenagers and adults. Reams said the 32,000-square-foot Pensacola facility will include multiple trampoline attractions, basketball dunk areas, arcade games, duckpin bowling and additional jumping and flooring-based activities.

While some earlier Launch locations focused primarily on trampolines, Reams said the brand has evolved into a broader entertainment model that allows parents to relax while kids play. The Pensacola site will also include party rooms and the ability to book the entire facility for corporate events and private functions.

A Father-and-Son Venture

Reams told Business Debut the idea to pursue Launch began about three years ago after his son took his own children to a location in Orlando. That visit sparked interest in the concept and led the family to explore multiple brands before settling on Launch.

“They were just overboard with enthusiasm,” Reams said, noting the brand’s safety standards, history and continual updates to attractions as major factors in the decision.

The Restaurant and Bar

The Pensacola Launch location will include a full-service restaurant and bar inside the facility. Reams said the bar will seat approximately 20 to 25 guests, with additional high-top tables and booths bringing total seating to roughly 80 to 100 people.

The menu will focus on approachable favorites such as chicken wings, fries and sundaes, along with drinks from the bar. As a franchise owner, Reams said he will have flexibility to tailor certain menu items to the Pensacola market while staying within Launch’s broader offerings.
