Jeremiah’s Italian Ice Opening Soon in Panama City

PANAMA CITY, FL — Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is targeting a mid-May opening at 928 Promenade St, Panama City, FL 32404, bringing its Italian ice and ice cream concept to the area for the first time, owner Bob Amin told Business Debut. The location marks Amin’s first Jeremiah’s franchise and adds to a growing portfolio of restaurant concepts he operates locally.
What to Expect
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice offers a fast-casual experience centered around Italian ice layered with ice cream, along with a variety of toppings. Customers can expect a walk-in ordering setup with limited indoor seating, typically four to five seats, with most guests opting to enjoy their order on the go, Amin told Business Debut.
The menu includes gelati combinations, ice cream sandwiches, cakes, and take-home options like quarts. Amin described the product as “really nice flavorful Italian ice” paired with ice cream and toppings, noting the concept stands apart from traditional Italian ice offerings.
Menu and Vision
Amin said his interest in the brand began through visits to Orlando, where Jeremiah’s originated. “We always eat Jeremiah’s Italian ice every time we go there,” he told Business Debut, adding that both the product quality and customer service influenced his decision to franchise.
He operates the business alongside his brother and co-owner Swap Amin. In addition to Jeremiah’s, Amin owns five Marco’s Pizza locations, a Checkers, and a Fazoli’s, along with multiple gas stations across Bay County, he told Business Debut.
The team also plans to stay active in the community. “We are always there to partner with schools or any local community,” Amin told Business Debut.
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a mid-May opening, though Amin noted timing may shift slightly as construction progresses.
Hours
Tentative hours are 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, subject to change based on customer traffic, Amin told Business Debut.
