Fat Rabbit Pub Opening Second Location in Sarasota
The Tampa-founded brand is preparing to expand.
The second location of Tampa's The Fat Rabbit Pub is opening in Sarasota soon, co-owner John Kuemmel told FFBW. The new unit is coming after nearly seven years of operating the Tampa location. The brand is owned by Kuemmel and Shawn Diehl.
The new location will be on the second floor of the downtown building at: 1359 Main St, Sarasota, FL 34236. Guests can expect a similar menu that which has won awards in Tampa: high end burgers, wings, craft cocktails and more. Kuemmel shared that their chef is exploring some seafood options for the Sarasota location.

Finishing up construction this week, Kuemmel intends to soft open toward the end of the month and host a grand opening in early May. The restaurant will be accessible via stairs and an elevator.
The Sarasota location will maintain the following hours: Sunday - Thursday 11 am - 11 pm and Friday - Saturday 11 am - 1 am. The kitchen will be open late as well.
