Ex-Squids-It Eats Expanding with Food Truck in Lee County
Inspired by hurricane relief efforts, Ex-Squids-It Eats is launching a food truck featuring a condensed version of its popular boat menu.
Ex-Squids-It Eats, known for its popular food boat serving boaters and sandbar visitors along the Gulf Coast, is expanding its operations with the addition of a food truck, owner Amanda Maddison shared with Business Debut.
The decision to bring Ex-Squids-It Eats to land was inspired by a partnership with Christian Life Academy School in Cape Coral. Maddison and her family used the school’s food truck to serve meals to over 1,600 hurricane victims from Matlacha to South Fort Myers Beach. This experience encouraged them to expand their reach with a truck of their own.
The new food truck will feature a condensed version of the boat’s menu, including kabobs, hot dogs, wings, fries, calamari, and more. Stay tuned for updates and locations by following Ex-Squids-It Eats on Facebook.
