Dish’s Bagels Opening with New York-Style Concept

The grab-and-go shop will offer bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and deli favorites with indoor and patio seating.

BROOKHAVEN, GA — Dish's Bagels is planning a July or August opening at 1410 Lake Hearn Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30319, owner Chad Dishner told Business Debut. The space is currently under construction.

What to Expect

Dish's Bagels will be a grab-and-go bagel shop with seating for about 30 guests inside and six tables outside, Dishner told Business Debut. The shop is located at Amli Brookhaven. This will be nearby to Mama's Pizza, which Business Debut reported about on April 14th.

“What’s most important to me about the concept is that the food is going to be good, but I’m really trying to put together a family-owned and operated family atmosphere where people want to come and relax,” Dishner told Business Debut.

The menu will feature New York-style breakfast and lunch items, including bagels, bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches, bagels with lox and cream cheese, and deli sandwiches with corned beef or pastrami on rye, Dishner told Business Debut.

Dishner is originally from upstate New York and said close family friends operate Orange County Bagels, a four-location bagel business there. He said Dish's Bagels is modeled after that style of shop.

“After living in Atlanta almost 20 years, one of the things that I always said is we need a really good bagel place,” Dishner told Business Debut.

Before opening Dish's Bagels, Dishner worked in the hotel business for almost 10 years with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and also worked in hotel development, he told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

Dishner said the shop is targeting a July or August opening. Construction is underway, with inspections, flooring, painting and equipment installation still ahead.
