FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Wing Co. Express is bringing its streamlined “express” concept to two Fayetteville addresses: 125 Person St, Fayetteville, NC 28301, targeting a January 29 opening, and 7071 Raeford Rd # A, Fayetteville, NC 28304, targeting an opening in about six months, co-founder Bryan Moore told Business Debut.
Durham County
East of Texas
East of Texas is preparing to expand from Winston-Salem to Durham, opening in the American Tobacco Campus at: 318 Blackwell St, Durham, NC 27701. Owner Claire Calvin told Business Debut that they are early in the construction process and hope to debut this summer.
Mecklenburg County
Sage & Citrus
CHARLOTTE, NC — Sage & Citrus, a grab-and-go wellness concept from Chef Darius Johnson, is targeting an early spring opening at 1801 N Graham St Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28206. Johnson told Business Debut the business will operate as a 347-square-foot food stall with a fast, kiosk-style ordering setup. Sage & Citrus is designed for quick service and short ticket times, with an emphasis on meals that fit into a wellness-focused lifestyle.
Sushi Rosé
CHARLOTTE, NC — Sushi Rosé is preparing to open at 225 S Poplar St, Charlotte, NC 28202 in the former Haymaker space under the Ascent Towers, co-owner Nevin Anuran told Business Debut. Construction is roughly 80% to 90% complete, and the team is targeting a mid-February to late February opening, pending permits.
Wake County
Campo Azul Mexican Cuisine
RALEIGH, NC — Campo Azul Mexican Cuisine is preparing to open a new full-service restaurant at 7320 Buffaloe Rd #120, Raleigh, NC 27604 in a Publix-anchored development, co-owner Cristina Chavero told Business Debut. Chavero said the team is waiting on final permitting before construction can begin, and once work starts, they expect to open in about two months, targeting March as a rough estimate.
Dirty V
RALEIGH, NC — Dirty V, a plant-based restaurant and bar from VegSouth Hospitality, is opening soon in Raleigh. Owners Carey and Lelia Kidd shared that they are planning a soft opening next weekend at 301 Glenwood Ave Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27603. Carey Kidd told Business Debut the concept is taking over the space that formerly hosted Marian Kitchen and Cocktails, which is relocating to Havenwing Vineyards in Benson.
Oak City Smokes
RALEIGH, NC – A new smoke and vape is opening in Raleigh within the next month, co-owner Kyrlos Ibrahim told Business Debut. The store is planning to open at: 402 South McDowell St, Raleigh, NC 27601. Customers can expect to purchase tobacco, vape, and other related products. Additionally, the shop will feature snacks, drinks and coffee for people who need a refreshment while stopping in.
Vic’s Pizzeria
WENDELL, NC — Vic’s Pizzeria plans to open a new location at 5920 Taylor Rd #930, Wendell, NC 27591 in the Wendell Falls area around late 2026 or early January 2027, owner Michael Longo told Business Debut. The Wendell Falls restaurant is designed as a more full-service version of Vic’s, with sit-down dining, a full bar and a large patio.
