Dave’s Hot Chicken Opening in Pompano Beach This Spring

Dave’s Hot Chicken is bringing its signature Nashville-style heat to 2390 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, with a new location slated to open in April or May, according to franchisee Craig Ollis. This marks the brand's second Broward County spot, following its successful debut in Pembroke Pines.

Ollis plans to expand further, with a Coral Springs location expected in June or July and a fourth location nearing a lease agreement. Street Bar Expanding to Hollywood

Prolific restaurateur Offy Shifman is opening a second location of Street Bar in Hollywood. The first location opened recently in Surfside, offering a casual and affordable place to get great kosher comfort foods like tacos, chicken, beer and wine.

Byrd’s Hot Chicken Opening in Pembroke Pines in Q1 2025

Byrd’s Hot Chicken is bringing its signature heat to 9610 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024, with plans to open during the first quarter of 2025, franchisee Tariq Siddiqui shared. While the exact date is yet to be confirmed, this marks the brand's next step in expanding across South Florida.

Siddiqui, who also operates a Boynton Beach location, holds the franchise rights for the area and aims to grow Byrd’s Hot Chicken statewide. Café Honduras Maya Opening in Miami

A new restaurant opening in Miami is set to showcase the rich flavors of Honduras. Café Honduras Maya, owned by Jonathan Mejia, will debut in February, offering a dining experience centered on authentic Honduran dishes.

This casual dining spot will occupy a 1,300-square-foot space, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests to enjoy traditional cuisine. Stay tuned for updates as Mejia and his team prepare for this highly anticipated new business opening in Miami.

Novatore Cucina & Bar Opening in Miami Soon

Novatore Cucina & Bar, a new upscale Italian restaurant, is set to open at 2700 N Miami Ave #106, Miami, FL 33127. Co-owner Gabriel Mendelzon shared that the restaurant will offer a seasonal menu blending traditional Italian recipes with contemporary techniques, led by Michelin-starred chef Andrea Bernardi.

Paying tribute to Chef Bernardi’s grandfather, Novatore, the concept aims to recreate the warmth of family meals while maintaining the highest culinary standards. The restaurant will open in two phases, starting with 45 seats in February, with an expansion to over 100 seats planned for spring 2025.
