Treehouse BBQ — Fast-Casual Smokehouse Targeting Mid-January (St. Petersburg)
Opening: Mid-January soft opening, pending final inspections.

What to expect: Small, fast-casual storefront with a carryout focus; quick in-and-out flow, limited indoor seating, small outdoor area.
Menu highlights: Texas-style brisket, St. Louis ribs, pulled pork, sausage; sides like slaw, mac & cheese, cucumber-tomato salad, and house cornbread.
Background: Started as a catering company in early 2021; moving into a permanent storefront that came available in October. Owned by Mike Leander and Tina Hierus.
Hours (launch plan): Thu–Sat from 11 a.m. until sold out (typically ~4–5 p.m.). Team continues a Sunday farmers market in Kenwood through May, then may add Sundays.

DalMoros Fresh Pasta to Go — Larger Central Ave Space Aiming for March (St. Petersburg)
Opening: Around March (relocating to a bigger space).

Background: U.S. concept brought by the Caruso family after discovering DalMoros in Venice; first St. Pete spot opened in 2021 just a few doors down. Family-run operation with catering available.

Fusillo Italian Pasta — Fresh Pasta Bowls Coming Soon to Central Ave (St. Petersburg)
Opening: About 2 to 2½ months after renovations.

What to expect: Fast-casual, fresh-pasta bowls in paper containers for dine-in, takeout, and delivery; ~12 indoor seats with outdoor seating planned. Beer and wine.
Menu highlights: Daily house-made pasta with sauces prepared to order from a tight set of traditional ingredients; Italian imports like cheeses, pancetta, guanciale, and flour. Desserts: affogato, tiramisu, torta della nonna.
Background: Co-founders (and lifelong friends) Giangiacomo “Giangie” Greco and Alessandro Casali chose St. Pete for its strong support of local business. Greco’s hospitality background and Casali’s engineering/management experience inform the build-out.

Kitty’s House of Pizza — Takeout-First Pizza in a Revived 1963 Gas Station, Q1 2026 (St. Petersburg)
Opening: First quarter of 2026 (goal: by end of March).

What to expect: Fast-casual with counter, online, and delivery ordering; limited dine-in (~mid-20s seats). Buildout leans midcentury modern, restoring original 1963 gas-station details.
Menu highlights: “Cross between New York and Neapolitan” pies with 3-day fermented dough; ~6–9 pizzas in two sizes, plus a small set of pasta, sides, desserts, and a developing salad menu.
Background: From the team behind Brite Ice Scoop Shops (five stores); the space will expand commissary/freezer capacity for their ice cream operation, with pints sold on-site.
