Yemeni Coffee Shop Azal Coffee Opening in Altamonte Springs
Expect the brand to open in a couple of weeks.
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL — Azal Coffee plans to open a Yemeni coffee shop in the coming weeks at 150 Cranes Roost Blvd Ste 1200, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, franchise owner Mohammed Yahya shared with Business Debut in a phone interview.
Yahya said the cafe is waiting on a final health inspection and then expects to open about two weeks later.
What to Expect
The Altamonte Springs shop will focus on Yemeni-style coffee drinks. Beans will be sourced directly from Yemen, Yahya told Business Debut.
The cafe will occupy about 3,000 square feet indoors. Yahya said seating will be available for guests inside, with an additional 1,500-square-foot outdoor patio.
Azal Coffee already operates locations in Dearborn, Michigan; Queens, New York; and Wisconsin, according to Yahya. He said more sites are in various stages of development across several states.

Menu and Vision
Yahya said the menu will center on Yemeni coffee drinks, which are often blended with various spices. He said the cafe will also serve Yemeni teas. They will also offer Yemeni pastries as well.
Yahya told Business Debut he has a broader plan for expansion in Florida. He said future sites under consideration include Tampa, additional Orlando locations, and North and South Florida.
Opening Timeline
Yahya said the team is waiting for a health inspection before opening. After that visit, he estimated the cafe will open in about two weeks.
He described the timing as dependent on final approvals from local authorities. An exact opening date is to be announced.
