Foxtail Coffee Set to Open at Altamonte Mall
Coffee, seasonal drinks, and ice cream will define the offerings.
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL — Foxtail Coffee is targeting a May 20 opening at 451 E. Altamonte Dr., Space #FS01, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701, with Ouadhah Benrhouma and his partner Abdel Trabelsi bringing the brand to Altamonte Mall. Benrhouma told Business Debut this will be their first Foxtail Coffee franchise location.
What to Expect
Foxtail Coffee is a Florida-based coffee chain that began in Winter Park and has expanded across the state, Benrhouma told Business Debut. The Altamonte Springs location will be set inside the mall’s food court and is expected to offer a smaller footprint with about 10 to 12 seats, plus nearby shared food court seating.
Benrhouma said the shop is designed to be a comfortable stop for coffee, light breakfast items and ice cream. He said guests can also expect a workspace-friendly setup with Wi-Fi, tables, chairs and a couple of lounge-style seating areas.
Menu and Vision
Benrhouma told Business Debut he and Trabelsi were drawn to the brand as part of their goal to build something of their own after years in retail.
“It’s been a goal for us to open a business and grow something of our own, and we really liked the idea of serving people through this concept,” Benrhouma told Business Debut.
The location is expected to focus on coffee, quick breakfast bites and Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream. Benrhouma said menu favorites include the Americano coffee con leche, while Foxtail’s seasonal beverages are also a big part of the appeal. He said the team expects ice cream to be a major part of this location’s business.
Benrhouma also credited Christina Morin, whom he identified as a Foxtail franchise leader, for helping guide the process. “She’s very nice, very helpful, very good person,” Benrhouma told Business Debut. “She makes all the steps very easy.”
Opening Timeline
The team is targeting a tentative May 20 opening, Benrhouma told Business Debut. He said the date is still dependent on final preparations.
Hours
Benrhouma said the shop plans to operate seven days a week in line with mall hours: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
