Vic’s Italian Restaurant Coming Soon to Six Forks Road in Raleigh

Pizza, pasta, and Italian-American classics will highlight the menu.

RALEIGH, NC — Vic’s Italian Restaurant is preparing to open a new location at 5434 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609, with owner Mario Longo Jr. targeting an opening in approximately two months, Longo told Business Debut.

The restaurant will take over a standalone building previously occupied by a KFC and Taco Bell near the Colony Shopping Center, Longo told Business Debut.

What to Expect

The Six Forks Road location will feature approximately 75 to 80 seats and operate with a fast-casual service model, where guests order at the counter before being served at their table, Longo told Business Debut. The restaurant will also include a drive-thru, Longo told Business Debut. Customers will be able to place orders and receive an alert when their food is ready.

“We don’t want you to wait in line if someone’s waiting for 10 pizzas,” Longo told Business Debut. “You’ll get an alert that your food is ready, come around, and pick it up.”

The system is also expected to support third-party delivery drivers, Longo told Business Debut. The space will include a semi-private dining area for small gatherings and offer beer and wine service.

Guests can expect a menu similar to other Vic’s locations, with potential additions made possible by a larger kitchen, Longo told Business Debut.

The menu centers on Italian staples including pizzas, pasta dishes, baked entrees, and classic appetizers, along with salads and sandwiches. Vic’s is also known for items like chicken parmesan, baked ziti, stromboli, and New York-style pizza, reflecting the brand’s traditional approach to Italian-American cuisine.

The brand was founded by Mario Longo in 1993, and the original Vic’s Pizzeria remains in City Market in Raleigh. The business continues to operate as a family-run concept. Mario Jr. operates the location on Lake Boone Trail in Raleigh, his brother Michael Longo is opening a location in Wendell, and their sister Mia Longo helps operate the original location in City Market.
