Vicky Bakery Opening a New Location in Davie
Longtime guests of Vicky Bakery are opening their own location.

DAVIE, FL – Vicky Bakery is set to open at 15936 W State Rd 84, Davie, FL 33325. The target launch will be in September, according to Franchisee Armando Palma, who spoke with Business Debut.
Known for its authentic Cuban pastries and warm, family-oriented atmosphere, the bakery will offer a fast casual setup with approximately 30–40 indoor seats.
A Taste of Cuba in Broward County
The menu will include Vicky Bakery’s famous Cuban pastries, such as the popular guava and cheese pastry, classic croquettes, and a variety of cakes and cookies made right in the bakery. Customers can also enjoy real Cuban coffee, which goes perfectly with the pastries.
For customers looking for other items aside from pastries, the bakery will serve sandwiches with ham and cheese as well as classic Cuban. It will also add (platos pequeños) small plates with rice, beans, and pork, ideal for a light meal.

Family Roots, Franchise Tradition
Although part of the Vicky Bakery franchise, the business will maintain its homey, family-owned feel. The original founders remain actively involved, ensuring each location keeps the brand’s traditional values.
Palma, a real estate professional, says the decision to open a bakery was both personal and strategic. “It's been a staple and a signature of our family for so many years, and it happened to have been with Vicky Bakery,” He said. “We were offered the opportunity and decided to move forward with it.”
The business will be operated by Palma and her wife, Mery Lopez-Palma, with corporate providing many of the signature pastries while the local team bakes specialty items onsite.
Hours and Opening Plans
The exact hours the bakery will be open are not yet settled. The owners are still deciding based on what's happening in the neighborhood. Initially, they want to keep the bakery open for longer hours to understand better what customers like.
