Three Rabbits Brewing Opening in Greensboro
The new brewery and tap room plans to soft open by the end of the month.
GREENSBORO, NC — Three Rabbits Brewing is finishing work on its taproom at 214 Commerce Pl, Greensboro, NC 27401, where owner Christopher Myers is targeting a soft opening toward the end of the month. He expects to start brewing in the coming weeks.
What to Expect
Three Rabbits Brewing will operate as a brewery and taproom with about 3,400 square feet of space. Myers told Business Debut about 1,300 square feet will be dedicated to the taproom, with the rest used for brewing.
The brewery will use a 120-gallon, 3.5-barrel brewing system, Myers told Business Debut. The taproom is expected to have a European pub feel, with old maps, pictures and paintings connected to Myers’ German heritage.
Menu and Vision
The brewery will focus on lagers, particularly European-style and German-style lagers, Myers told Business Debut. Because those beers take longer to brew, Three Rabbits Brewing plans to start with ales, including IPAs and sours, before expanding the tap list to include the lagers.
Myers said he is especially excited to serve bock beer, a darker German lager. “It’s a richer flavor than your domestic lagers,” Myers told Business Debut. “There’s a lot of different German beers that just haven’t gotten their spotlight in America.”
Opening Timeline
Three Rabbits Brewing is targeting a soft opening after its first beers are ready. Myers told Business Debut the brewery is aiming for a grand opening later in July into August, though the timeline is not final.
Hours
Three Rabbits Brewing plans to open six days a week and is expected to be closed on Mondays, Myers told Business Debut.
