The Wood Plank Steakhouse Plans Early April Opening in Farmville
Guests can expect prime-cut steaks, grilled chicken, shrimp, salmon, sandwiches, and a fresh salad bar.
FARMVILLE, NC — The Wood Plank Steakhouse is targeting an opening in the first week of April at 3689 East Wilson Street in Farmville, ownership told Business Debut. The restaurant takes over the former Plank Road Steakhouse space with a refreshed concept and updated approach.
What to Expect
The Wood Plank Steakhouse will offer a casual fine dining atmosphere with seating for 98 guests inside and an additional 40 seats on an outdoor patio. The restaurant will serve dinner Wednesday through Sunday, with Sunday lunch also available.
Guests can expect both walk-ins and reservations to be accommodated, along with space for larger parties. The patio will feature live music, expected Thursday through Saturday evenings.
Menu and Vision
The menu will center on prime-cut steaks, including filets, ribeyes, and New York strips, along with weekend prime rib specials. Additional offerings will include grilled chicken, shrimp, and salmon, as well as sandwiches, appetizers, and a fresh salad bar.
Ownership said the goal is to create a more family-oriented environment while elevating the quality of food compared to the previous concept. “We want it to be more like a family type atmosphere,” ownership told Business Debut. “We’re going to strive for the quality of food to be better than what it was when it closed.”
