MELBOURNE, FL — The Teahouse, a refreshed take on a classic afternoon tea shop led by owner Noah Nace, is targeting an opening around Christmas or early in the New Year, he told Business Debut. The shop will debut at 820 E New Haven Ave, Suite 3, Melbourne, FL 32901.

What to Expect

Guests will find a hybrid service model that accommodates both full afternoon tea service and quick, counter-style visits. The space will seat roughly 20 to 30 guests. The concept blends traditional Victorian influences with a modern, boho atmosphere.

Nace prepares nearly all offerings in house, including sandwiches, soups, and baked goods. Early menu highlights include strawberry chicken salad sandwiches, cream of mushroom soup, and seasonal cookies such as spumoni and chocolate chip.

Nace said The Teahouse will feature a wide selection of loose leaf teas brewed on-site and served alongside a full afternoon tea experience. His personal favorites include the cucumber and dill sandwich with cream cheese and his chocolate chip cookies. “Every time I bake a sheet I take one,” he told Business Debut.

He emphasized his commitment to quality and affordability. Most sandwiches will fall in the seven to eight dollar range. “You can still go out and have lunch with somebody for under 20,” he told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

The Teahouse is targeting an opening around Christmas or possibly early in the New Year, pending final permitting.

Hours

The shop expects to operate Wednesday through Sunday. Weekday hours are planned for noon–8 p.m., and weekend hours for 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

Ownership and Acknowledgments

Nace noted that the project would not be possible without the support of his wife, Veanna, who he said has been with him since high school and plays a crucial role financially and emotionally. “I couldn’t do it without her,” he told Business Debut.
