Thai-Licious to Bring Traditional Thai Cuisine to Sarasota by mid June
A Thai chef is bringing authentic cuisine to the area.
Thai-Licious, a new Thai bistro, is preparing to open its doors by mid June at 5755 Beneva Rd., Sarasota, FL 34233, ownership confirmed. The restaurant will offer traditional Thai dishes crafted by Chompoonuch Gilbert, "Chef Joy," who ownership reports as being a veteran culinary artist known for her passion and skill.
Chef Joy, who has been cooking alongside her family since childhood, brings years of experience from operating restaurants in Thailand and working in U.S. kitchens. Thai-Licious will mark her first restaurant venture in Florida. Ownership reported that she will be using the freshest ingredients and has built a reputation for crafting thoughtful and flavorful dishes.
The menu will feature a wide range of traditional Thai dishes and include options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets, aiming to satisfy a variety of palates.

Thai-Licious will operate as a full-service bistro with seating for 48 to 52 guests. Hours will be 11 am – 2:30 pm for lunch and 4 pm – 9 pm for dinner. The restaurant will be closed on Mondays.
